Today I had chance to attend NRCEL's event IIM Bangalore.
Here are a few pearls of wisdom on Entrepreneurship shared by Kanawal Rekhi, A Silicon
Valley Entrepreneur and MD of Investus Capital, during the session.
A quick dose of takeaways!!
An Entrepreneur should be serious about selling himself and his products to everyone. This marketing journey starts right from the time when he sells his Idea of becoming an entrepreneur to his family and dependents. He needs to sell his ideas to his partners, friends, venture capitalists and everyone around him
An Entrepreneur should never fall in love with his idea. He
should wake up every day trying to answer questions on what’s his vision, how
is the world around him changing and how should he cope up with this ever
changing environment dynamics.
An entrepreneur takes ownership of everything around him. It
Is he who should be in charge of all circumstances around him. He operates in a
very unstable environment where he can’t keep complaining about situations or
people around him. He should rather take ownership of these problems and should
pin in down on all of them.
